Positive results with an Alzheimer’s drug: the highest of five tested doses of an anti-Aβ antibody had a significant effect on both cognition and the accumulation of toxic plaques in the brain in a Phase 2 study.

The drug maker reported positive secondary results from a mid-stage study in hopes of saving a drug many in the field had written off entirely.
